Books I have read in 2008...

As I try to look back and reflect upon what I have read this year, this is the best approximation of books that I have read this past year. I know I am missing some and will add those as they occur to me. Plus, I will read some more in the coming weeks that will be added too! My original goal was 100 books, but I don't think I am going to make it. I spent too much time playing with fabric...

I'm a big fan of Joshilyn Jackson - I stumbled upon her books this summer and enjoyed all of them. I see you read Gods in Alabama - check out The Girl Who Stopped Swimming and Between, Georgia. She also has a fantastic blog here:

I just finished A Book Thief a day or two ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It reminded me of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. I noticed his Everything is Illuminated made the 1001 Must Reads. I would probably choose "Extremely" for that list over "Everything." :) We'll have to come up with our own 100 Must Reads. A personal challenge for 2009? :)
